Folklore evenings
We organize to order the folklore evenings with traditional Polish cuisine.
A folklore band in Cracovian dressses welcomes guests with music, bread and salt, and the Old Polish fruit liqueur.
Then we invite our guests to a farm restaurant, where a traditional dinner or supper is prepared. We serve such dishes as: dumplings, landowners’ sauerkraut stew with potato dumplings, chops with groats and red cabbage and pork chops with fried cabbage. For desserts we suggest a traditional cheesecake, poppyseed cake or caramel cake.
The folklore band performs during supper, and at the end there is a traditional “Lajkonik” (a folk game with a bearded horseman on a fake horse).
Additionally, there is also a possibility of ordering:
- chaises or sleighs for fifteen-minute rides in the neighbourhood,
- stalls with folklore products (wooden toys etc.) and with a show of handicraft of a wicker weaver and a sculptor. There is also a show of butter making followed by a tasting.
